Primary Strokes of Colour
Primary Strokes of Colour 1964
One of the first 'clandestine' paintings undertaken by AMA when he first started art lessons at Uppingham School in the autumn of 1964. You must understand, AMA thought that 'Abstract Art' was against the rules and produced a small number of pieces when the art master wasn't there.
The mark making included applying paint with a bicycle wheel rim, it was the sort of thing Modern Artists did!
